2001 Maryland and DC Trip

In 2001, Jean and I flew to Baltimore, where Linda met us.   This was a spur-of-the moment trip, and Barbara unfortunately was not able to come this time.  We visited the home where we grew up (boy did it shrink!!!!), our grandparents’ house in DC, and other  historical places which are part of our family history.  Here is a picture we took when we visited Eleanora Brooke Dyer, my mom’s twin sister.  It was fun to be together as extended family that day.  Here it is:

Grandpa and Emily

We had fun playing “restaurant” with Emily and Ellie.  Ellie was at school on Monday, so we had fun with Emily.  She got her little tea cups and dishes out, would take “our order” and then bring us our hot chocolate, cookies, sandwiches, etc.!  It was fun.  I loved this picture of her especially.

Sam

Here is cute Sam.  I am playing around with word frames in photoshop elements and did this one…  He is a happy boy!

Pinehurst October 8, 2010

Here are some unedited pictures of grandchildren.  North Carolina is beautiful.  We are having fantastic weather, too!

I’ll add more pictures and edit the ones I have here.

Back again!!

I have not updated this blog or Tim’s blog, so have to get busy again with it.  Decided it was a good thing to do between conference sessions today!  Here is a picture from my birthday dinner.  The Piersons took us out and we had a great time.  I can’t believe I am as old as I am.  Where does time go???

Hayes Turns One!

We enjoyed a birthday party in Terra Linda park to celebrate Hayes’ first birthday.  Here are a few pictures.

Rockaway Beach

We went to Rockaway beach for the afternoon, July 30, 2010.  Becky, the four kids and I went and enjoyed the day on the sand.  I think the boys were disappointed at how cold the water is here — not at all like the California beaches they are used to!  I had fun playing with my program doing this picture of Olivia with Hayes.
